BLII Waveform Manager Lite provides a broad range of measurement capabilities including delta X and Y screen cursors, waveform scaling, time stamps, and related data are available as data fields which can be displayed in notes, and window captions. Custom probe scaling enables you to display accurately calibrated results when you use your scope with transducers or specialty probes not recognized by your scope.

Signals shown indicate that the glitch is occuring at the 4th. cycle of the motor.
The Tektronix THS720P was used in the Peak Detect Mode of Acquisition,  and the trigger set to trigger on a pulse of less than 265nS.  This allowed us to not only see the failure,  but also to force the scope to trigger at the occurance.

The screen image shows more measurement information as well as the location of the reset (slew return) from trigger point and delta time between glitches (cursors).

Waveform Information

  • Ground symbol shows zero volt level

File Formats

  • Document Files - Bundle all information and save to individual Waveform Manager Document "WFD" files. Keyword search facility provides for easy recall.
  • Waveform Files - Import/export in common waveform file formats including ISF, CSV, BWV and WFM. Export in user defined text formats.
  • Picture Files – Import/export in BMP, WMF, formats. Pictures can be embedded in Document files with annotation.

Clipboard Support

Press the Copy toolbar button to send a picture of the current main window to the clipboard in the following formats:

  • Windows Metafile ".WMF"
  • Bitmap ".DIB", ".BMP"
  • Copy individual waveforms to the clipboard as pictures and data tables

Automatic Transfers

Transfers waveforms, or screen images from locations that you
specify, or from all currently displayed locations.

Can perform transfers once at program startup, when the scope
triggers, or repeatedly with 1s to 24Hr wait time between.

Printing

Print using any printer that has Windows support. You can suppress printing of background colors, or convert entire image to monochrome, for excellent results with laser and dot matrix printers.

Using Print Preview you can adjust the size and location of the printed image on the page, and view colors and proportions as they will appear.

Easy Installation

Program identifies the currently connected instrument and will then automatically configures the serial port for successful communication. User's guide is available in the on-line help.

System Requirements

IBM PC or compatible (‘386 or better); Windows 3.x, Win95, NT 3.51 or 4.0. VGA or better display is recommended. One serial port for instrument connection. If a serial mouse is used, two serial ports are required; one for the instrument and one for the mouse.

 

Cursor Measurements

  • X and Y parameters are displayed by cusor placement on active waveform
  • Waveforms may be added to or replace existing display.
